Roles

Unlike His father (Geb), older brother (Wesir), twin brother (Set), and nephew (Heru-sa-Aset), Heru-wer never served as the Nisut of Kemet. This left Him free to explore other aspects of life, like booze, war, and women!

Heru-wer is a strong Name, and can be called upon to help overcome difficulties in your life.

One area He has taken to particularly is helping in areas of finances, especially income. He works with Wepwawet to provide new opportunities in jobs.

One major festival is His birthday, the 2nd Day Upon The Year

The Feast of The Beautiful Reunion is a celebration of both Heru-wer and Hethert. Hethert left almost a year ago, and has been returning since the winter solstice. The two are finally back together. It is a festival of love and togetherness. The feast takes place towards the end of the year.

Creation Story and Myths

There is a myth describing the first appearance of Heru-Behdety, a form of Heru-wer taking the appearance of the winged sun disk. Heru-wer heard of a plot to over throw him, and went to Ra for assistance. Ra turned Him away, insisting that He could not help Heru, lest Heru be judged weak. The fight waged for some time, until the forces of isfet began to overtake Heru's army. Heru once again cried out to His father, Who blessed Heru with the form of the blazing sun-disk, so that he could be victorious over the forces of isfet. He slew the opposing army, and was henceforth in this form known as Heru-Behdety.
