A question about the main page

I was doing some thinking, and I was wondering if the main page didn't need a little overhaul. I'm trying to work up a test page of it, but I don't want to make any changes without seeing what the general consensus is. I'll post a link up here when I've made a test page. Sobeqsenu 14 October 2007

I have moved the Wepwawet information that was on the Main Page to it's own page. I will add more information here about KO and the Netjer. Please add more information.

Uploading priviliges for the wiki should be here within a week, when the domain is transferred to a new server within the ISP.

To insert hieroglyphs use the following code, replacing "Manuel de Codage" with the appropriate Manuel de Codage symbols. <hiero>Manuel de Codage</hiero>

There is a template page for the basic structure of each Netjer page. Go to the Edit page, select all the code and paste it into the page of the Name of the Netjer you are creating. http://wepwawet.org/wiki/index.php/Template:Netjer

Editing the wiki

So you want to edit the wiki? Alright, this is what the wiki is about. Well, let's start with what a wiki is. A wiki is a web application that allows users to add content to a site but also allows anyone to edit the content. I am not going to explain the syntax for the wiki here. If you need information on that, please visit this page: Wikipedia Introduction

Explore the categories: Special:Categories
Explore the wanted pages and add information: Special:Wantedpages

If you are creating a new page for a Name of Netjer, use the template: Template:Netjer
There is also a template for adding gemstones: Template:Stones

Remember to categorize new pages or pages that are not yet categorized, use this code:
[[Category:New Category]]

The wiki is also multilingual. Remember to add the code that will show links to the other languages. With the exception of proper nouns, remember to change the name from Main Page to the target language's translation for the page you are editing.
